Job Description
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients within the APAC region. You will work closely with our existing client base to strengthen relationships and expand our service offerings. Additionally, you will manage the delivery of our services to ensure client satisfaction and meet or exceed performance targets.
New Client Acquisition:
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the APAC region, leveraging various channels such as networking, referrals, industry events, and online platforms.
- Conduct research and market analysis to understand client needs, industry trends, and competition to develop effective sales strategies.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM software.
Relationship Management and Account Development
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their IT manpower needs and providing exceptional service to drive client retention and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients to develop customized staffing solutions that meet their specific requirements and deliver measurable value.
- Conduct regular client meetings, including business reviews, to ensure client satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.
Service Delivery Management
- Coordinate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of IT professionals to clients.
- Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery.
- Address client feedback and concerns promptly, working closely with internal teams to resolve any issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Continuously evaluate and improve service delivery processes to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
Market Intelligence and Reporting
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, client acquisition, and service delivery metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials to support sales efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven track record in business development and new client acquisition in the IT staffing or recruitment industry, preferably with experience across the APAC region.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Deep understanding of the IT industry, including knowledge of emerging technologies, IT roles, and talent market trends.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required.
