Job description
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in HP Storage arrays, 3 PAR, XP, EVA and MSA
- Hand-on experience in LUN creation, allocation and de-allocation of LUNs and LUN Mapping
- Experience in Configuring and troubleshooting Fabric Environments constituting Brocade, Mc Data and Cisco switches
- Hand-on experience in Zoning, merging and zone segmentation concepts
- Additional knowledge of Storage Essentials, IBM Storage, Hitachi, NetApp/EMC is desired
- System administration experience on HPUX and Sun Solaris, and knowledge on Volume Manager Concepts would be an added value
- Basic knowledge of SAN Tape libraries MSL, ESL and EML
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
Qualification:
- Any degree
- Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness
- Excellent knowledge of the IT environment and its future trends
- Strong consulting skills, flexibility and resourcefulness
- Exposure to Customers Globally
Skills mandatory:
- 1-3 years of support experience
- System administration skills in UNIX/Windows
- Knowledge of tape drives and libraries
- Good written and verbal communication skills
