Job Description
- Work out detail Engineering, Assembly creation and Release process
- Knowledge of BIW design and structural components (e.g- Door Panels/Body Side Panel/Underbody Parts)
- Must have a basic understanding of Automotive components like Roof, Floor, Bodyside (Inner & outer), closures etc.
- Team Centre knowledge, PLM
- Good knowledge and understanding of Tooling & Manufacturing processes
- Willing to work at various levels in the organization as per project requirements.
- Creating Engineering Master sections
- Concept design, macro feasibility during styling stage.
- CAD modelling and 3D annotations of BIW components and assemblies ensuring timely delivery at every milestone as per the Project time plan
- Define validation plan of BIW components and assemblies on component level meeting all requirements of functionality, performance and quality as per industry standards.
- Good knowledge of GD&T, strong hands-on experience in CAD software
- Knowledge of spot welding (AB3)
