Job Description
- Facilitate Agile Practices: Act as a servant leader and guide the team on Agile principles and practices. Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- SAFe Implementation: Utilize your knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to help the organization adopt and implement SAFe practices and principles. Work with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Team Empowerment: Empower and enable the development team to achieve self-organization and high performance. Help identify and remove impediments to their progress.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, promoting open communication among team members, product owners, and stakeholders. Encourage knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
- Metrics and Reporting: Gather and analyze metrics related to team performance and use data to drive continuous improvement. Generate reports and visualizations to communicate progress and identify areas for enhancement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and the organization. Identify areas of improvement, implement best practices, and encourage a culture of continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication and interaction with stakeholders, including product owners, product managers, and business stakeholders. Help manage expectations and ensure alignment with the Agile development process.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact the team’s productivity or delivery. Work with the team to develop risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, leading Agile teams through successful product delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, and SAFe.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships.
- Experience with Agile project management tools and software.
- Familiarity with software development processes and practices.
